Donate to Flying Kites
Flying Kites relies largely on the generosity of philanthropists across the United States for the continued care we give to the children at our center. We offer a variety of ways to make a significant impact on our cause.
Our ability to rescue orphaned children and provide for their future depends on your generous contributions. Donations, both large and small, are crucial for the continued well-being of our children as well as the development of our organization. Be the catalyst for change and donate today.
Sponsorships
Sponsoring a child is a tremendous way to help Flying Kites. Through detailed updates from your child's caregiver, and communication from your child directly, you will ultimately experience what Flying Kites is really about. You will be a part of the day-to-day achievements of the children - from crayon drawings, to stronger immune systems, and from moving up national test scores, to breaking tree-climbing records. Categorized into three levels of commitment, you can easily establish a payment system that is most convenient for you while making an impact on a child’s development needs and future goals.
Capital Campaign
Research on early childhood development has consistently shown that living in a comfortable and secure environment is central to the development of healthy young adults. Our buildings will represent our commitment to quality childcare.
The Flying Kites community – modeled after a traditional homestead – will be made up of six individual homes accommodating fourteen children and two housemothers per home. The houses have been designed to create communal spaces for the family, as well to provide personal space for each child.
While the plans for our buildings reflect our insistence on quality, intelligent design can be affordable. By using local materials and techniques, we will ensure that our homes cost no more per square foot than more institutional childcare facilities.
