Since completion of our first documentary, Flying Kites Kenya, our media team is already busy documenting the issues faced by street children living in Delhi, India. Our new project will shed light on the grim reality of bonded child labor and prostitution in India’s dangerous city.

This fall, Flying Kites will be partnering with several leading Non-Governmental Organizations in India to address the long-term needs of children who have been rescued from bonded labor. While many organizations' expertise focus primarily on removing children from immediate exploitative conditions of forced labor, Flying Kites will be working with the local Delhi community to explore care opportunities for children unable to return home following their recovery. Through this collaboration we aim to develop strategies to provide high-quality residential care in the rural area of Uttarakhand, serving children who have suffered the abuse of being forced to work in factories and as child-prostitutes.
